Children’s Ministry

Hi! I’m Michelle. I am the Co-Ordinator of our Children’s Ministry. I have the amazing responsibility to help children not only know our Lord Jesus Christ, but to teach them to be disciples and learn to walk with Him everyday. We believe that age is no barrier to discovering that life is worth living when Jesus is in it! 

Kidzchurch

Kidzchurch is for children aged 4 through to Year 6 and is on at 9.30am Sunday morning during school terms.

For the next 6 months we will be going on a journey with Jesus. How exciting is that!!  We will follow him from Bethlehem to Nazareth to Judea where he meets his disciples, connects with people and even heals some of them too!

Our main focus in Children's Ministry this year is to Connect with Jesus and each other, Grow  as disciples in Him, and to love and Serve others.

Kidzone                               

 KIDZONE meets on Friday afternoons during school terms from 4p.m – 6p.m for children from Kindy to Year 6. We have lots of fun with games, craft, drama, singing and praising God. It’s exciting and action packed!

 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Playgroup                        

Playgroup is a great way for mums and toddlers to meet and build friendships. Playgroup meets in the hall each Wednesday from 10a.m until 12noon. There is time for free play, craft, singing and lunch. Birthdays are celebrated with a cake and present. We have enjoyed the delights of a petting zoo and outings to local parks and indoor play centres. Easter and Christmas are always special occasions.

We see Playgroup as a vital way of connecting with our local community and showing that our church is a place of safety, belonging, care, love and acceptance.
